We are a locally owned company which provide patient transfer services both locally and internationally. We provide the much needed service of transferring patients from interior districts of Sabah to the tertiary centres in the city. Cross border transfers and referrals are also an integral part of our service.

Our Vision

To ensure our service is provided professionally emphasising on total patient care. Our team of experts in this specialised field of medicine will use the latest advanced equipments based on international guidelines to make sure our patients arrive at their destination safely and comfortably.

Business Model

Our core business is transferring of critically ill patients. Our medical team consist of specialist doctors, medical officers, nurses and assistant medical officers who are specially trained in patient transfer. This includes safety training such as HUET, CRM and clinically based courses such as APLS, ATLS, ALS and STLS. International assistance companies rely on us for their local mobilisation of resources. We have our own dedicated planes, helicopters, doctors, nurses and assistant medical officers to ensure seamless service is provided to our clients. Patients will have a choice what level of service they prefer. Either specialist, medical officer or nurse escorts. They will also be advised by our officer on-duty regarding the level of care needed for their particular condition.

As the main service provider for international assistance companies in Sabah, we keep our standards high with state of the art equipment and use only the latest medical protocols for clinical management of patients. Strict standards are adhered to in regards to medical care and safety for our patients. This will ensure that the patient will get optimal care as he/she would get in a hospital while being transported.

Management Team

Borneo Aeromedical is managed by a team with adequate medical background to understand the needs of the patient. The highly stressed experience of being transferred when ill or unwell will be made as seamless as possible. We will ensure that family members dealing with us will get up to date reports and progress of the transfer of the patient. A family liaison will be appointed to keep in constant contact with family members. Updating of location, clinical condition, flight paths and estimated time of arrival will be done as often as logistically possible.
